Tiger-Vac CD-2600 CR (MRP) WHITE LINE

The same machine as the CD-2600 CR (MFS), but with manual reverse purge instead of a shaker. Built for continuous source extraction on process equipment in pharmaceutical production. Three-phase motor of 2.2 or 3.7 kW and a 36 litre recovery tank you release with a single pull. Dry pick-up only.

The filter is cleaned by reversing the air. Manual reverse purge (MRP) blows the filter clean from the inside while the machine is at a standstill. There is no mechanical shaking, and the dust falls down into the tank.
One pull empties the tank. Pull the handle down and the 36 litres are released straight away. No tools, no hoses to disconnect, and the tank sits at a sensible working height.
Designed to stay connected and run. The motor is totally enclosed and fan cooled and rated for continuous duty, so the machine can stay connected around the clock.
It takes up almost no floor space. The machine is built vertically and occupies 51 × 66 cm, about a third of a Euro pallet. The four castors mean one person can move it.
Cleanroom ready with HEPA or ULPA. With HEPA H14 or ULPA U15 fitted, the machine meets ISO Class 4.
Three-phase only. 400 V, 50 Hz. The model is not available single-phase, and that applies to every version.

What MRP means in practice

CD-2600 CR (MRP) is the same machine as the MFS model. The base machine, the motor, the recovery tank and the dimensions are identical. The only thing that separates them is the way the main filter is cleaned.

MRP stands for Manual Reverse Purge. With the machine at a standstill, the airflow is reversed manually through the filter, so it is blown clean from the inside and the dust falls down into the tank. No mechanical shaking is involved, so the filter cartridge gets a gentler treatment than in a shaker. CR stands for Clean Room and denotes the version intended for cleanrooms and pharmaceutical environments.

Our rule of thumb is straightforward. If the filter needs cleaning at batch change or shift change, and you want as few moving parts as possible, that points to MFS. If it needs cleaning several times an hour mid production, that points to ARP, where the purge happens automatically during operation. MRP sits in between: the cleaning happens at a planned stop, but without shaking the filter.

This is how little room it takes: 51 × 66 cm on the floor is about a third of a square metre, or a good third of a Euro pallet. In return it is 191 cm tall, because the whole build stands vertically. In practice that means the machine can stay permanently beside a tablet press, even in a room where every square metre is spoken for.

MFS, MRP or ARP: which filter cleaning should you choose?

Versions and options

The series comes in two versions. The difference lies in how much of the machine is stainless steel:

All stainless steel. Tank, filter chamber, motor housing and base are all stainless steel. This is the version we recommend for washdown rooms and for environments with cleaning agents or disinfectants.
Stainless steel and white powder coating. The product contact parts, meaning the tank and the filter chamber, are stainless steel, while the chassis and the motor housing are white powder coated. This is the classic WHITE LINE version, and it is less expensive where the machine will not be hosed down.

On top of that come these options:

HEPA H14 after-filter with at least 99.995 % efficiency at 0.3 µm, in a separate housing.
ULPA U15 after-filter with 99.999 % at 0.12 µm, in a separate housing. We recommend ULPA when the machine is to stay permanently in a classified room.
Polyliner collection bags for the tank, so emptying can be done without raising dust.
Hoses and accessories in Ø50 or Ø64 mm, sold per metre.

Part numbers depend on the chosen version and motor size, and we always confirm them on the quotation and the order confirmation, so you have them in writing for your documentation.

What does MRP mean, and how is the filter cleaned?

What is the difference between MFS, MRP and ARP in the CD-2600 CR series?

All three are ways of cleaning the main filter, and the base machine is the same. MFS shakes the filter clean mechanically without compressed air. MRP, this model, reverses the airflow manually through the filter at a planned stop. ARP does the same automatically during operation and is intended for a high and sustained dust load. If the filter has to be cleaned several times an hour mid production, that points to ARP. If it happens at batch change or shift change, MFS is both cheaper to buy and simpler to keep running.

Is a single-phase version available?

No. CD-2600 CR (MRP) is a purely three-phase model and is supplied only with 400 V, 50 Hz. That applies to every version in the series. If you only have single-phase power available, we will find another model that suits the job.

How easy is the tank to empty?

Very easy. You pull the handle down and the 36 litre tank is released straight away. Then you roll it out and empty it. The tank sits at a good working height, so you neither have to kneel down nor lift above shoulder height. No tools are needed, and you do not have to remove hoses or filters first.

Can the machine be used in an ISO Class 4 cleanroom?

Yes, when it is fitted with HEPA or ULPA. The base machine is not in itself suitable for ISO Class 4. If you choose HEPA H14 or ULPA U15 as an option, the machine meets ISO Class 4, formerly Class 10. Tiger-Vac aerosol tests every HEPA and ULPA system for leaks before it leaves the factory, and the machine must either stand in the cleanroom or be connected to the room's exhaust.

Can it be used to recover tablets?

Yes. Tablet recovery is one of the jobs the machine most often does at pharmaceutical manufacturers. Tablets are drawn down into the 36 litre tank without being crushed on the way, and because the tank is released with one pull, the product can quickly be weighed or discarded according to the applicable procedure.

How much floor space does it need?

Very little. The machine is built vertically and occupies 51 × 66 cm on the floor, about a third of a square metre. That is a good third of a Euro pallet, so it can stand permanently beside a tablet press without getting in the way. The four castors still allow one person to move it.

What does “WHITE LINE” mean?

WHITE LINE is Tiger-Vac's designation for the version with white powder coating, intended for cleanrooms and pharmaceutical environments. We supply the series either entirely in stainless steel or as a combination where the product contact parts are stainless and the chassis is white powder coated.
